About Our Facilities

The Main Lodge was built as guest facilities for the Bear Mountain Outdoor School in the late '80s. It is a handcrafted post and beam/hybrid frame that serves as the owner's home and office. Guests often come up and socialize on the deck for morning coffee or late afternoon drinks. The Cabin and Timber Frame facilities were built during workshops at the school between 89-96. Folks interested in learning hands on skills of building with log, timber, and stone, as well as sustainable building methods, came for week long learning vacations and assisted with the construction of what is now our guest facilities.

Our four comfortable sleeping cabins are tastefully decorated and overlook the surrounding mountains and pastoral valleys. Each cabin has a front porch for relaxing, and the Bath House is just a short step outside your cabin door.
